VoIP Testing with autoVoIP™ Simulator
Software to Simulate & Stress Test VoIP Traffic
The autoVoIP™ Simulator VoIP testing software addresses the growing need for traffic simulation to ensure successful implementation of VoIP networks. Our VoIP traffic simulator can be used pre- and post-deployment and measures Quality of Service (QoS) at different points on the network by simulating synthetic phone traffic.
Included with autoVoIP™ Simulator is the autoVoIP™ Blaster tool that effectively ramps up traffic (e.g., from 2 phones to 200) on your network to answer the question "At what point do things break down or degrade?"
Use the autoVoIP™ Blaster Software for Stress Testing VoIP
When a VoIP traffic simulation is performed, the autoVoIP™ Blaster tool stress tests the VoIP QoS experience for each point on the network by providing extra controlled loading of VoIP and non VoIP traffic.
- It sends out competitive & non-competitive traffic and allows you to see what the QoS would be for a single user when different levels of VoIP and non VoIP traffic are present.
- Automatically explores the limits of the network, using autoCheck Mode it shows the QoS degradation as traffic patterns are automatically explored.

Pre-Deployment VoIP Testing & Simulation
As part of a complete strategy for VoIP testing, software to simulate network traffic is essential. The Traffic Blaster VoIP Stress Testing tool can be used to determine network readiness prior to the installation of the VoIP Phone system. Its advanced technology helps consultants or organizations prevent unnecessary project delays and future maintenance costs, while at the same time averting client dissatisfaction with the implementation.

Emulate Groups of Phones
Multiple autoVoIP™ Simulator systems can be used to emulate groups of phones at different locations on the network and monitor the resulting QoS level. By combining multiple Traffic Simulators you are able to fully show the impact of adding groups of phones at different points on the network.
Use our software to test VoIP systems via distributed loading which can be used to match the exact phone deployment together with independent QoS monitoring at each deployment cluster site.
Post-Deployment VoIP Testing & QoS Measurments
A autoVoIP™ Simulator Sink System located near the phones can be used to send back RTCP RR reports to the autoVoIP™ Simulator in situations where phones do not have that capability. This method allows the autoVoIP™ Simulator (and if required a third party) to measure jitter and frame loss. An unlimited number of basic Sink Systems can be deployed with the Traffic Simulator. An
Advanced Sink System addon can also be purchased.
Providing QoS analysis at a glance, our VoIP testing software enables you to quickly see VoIP service levels: safe, marginal or seriously degraded. For trending and further analysis, an historical QoS measurement is maintained. The Automated Correlation Engine provides an expert system to analyse the QoS graphs.
Plus, QoS can be measured in parallel for all simulation sites on the network giving a true indication of the behaviour of the whole phone deployment.
